Chicago Black Restaurant Week is back for its annual celebration, taking place from February 9–23, 2025! This event is a chance to explore and support Black-owned eateries in the Chicagoland area.

This year, we’re continuing the tradition of spotlighting Black-owned restaurants on the West Side of Chicago, focusing on the neighborhoods of Austin, Garfield Park, and North Lawndale.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the area, this is an opportunity to dive into some of the best flavors the West Side has to offer. Let’s take a closer look at a few must-visit spots that call the West Side home.
