Apply to the We Rise Together Grant presented by Allies for Community Business (A4CB) and Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC). This grant provides up to $12,500 to eligible businesses that wish to expand into a physical storefront. Eligible applicants must have at least two years of sales and seeking retail space in one of the following communities: Auburn Gresham, Austin, Back of the Yards, Englewood, Gage Park, North Lawndale, South Lawndale, South Shore, Washington Park or West Lawn. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2024.
Applications are now being accepted for the Elevate Together grant and mentorship program. Recipients typically receive awards ranging from $5,000 – $10,000 in cash grants and in-kind donations of Office Depot gift cards per business. The deadline to apply is July 5, 2024.
Apply to the Community Development Grant presented by the Chicago Department of Planning & Development. This grant will help support small businesses, nonprofits and property owners for local commercial, mixed-use and light manufacturing development. Apply by August 9, 2024.
Apply to the Foot Locker Foundation Community Empowerment Program. Grants of $25,000-$100,000 are available, and nonprofits based in Chicago are eligible to apply. Applicants should have a track record of impact in one or more of the program’s key objectives: community outreach, particularly focused on youth health and wellness; mentoring around life skills, academics and conflict resolution; and career development to build skills and pathways to employment. The deadline to apply is September 30, 2024.
