Career Opportunities
- Grassroots Alliance for Police Accountability (GAPA) is looking for a full-time GAPA Coordinator. Apply by Thursday, March 14.
- Illinois Prison Project is looking for a Community Navigator. The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 28.

Trainings
- Apply to the Impact Culinary Training Program. This no-cost program is for young adults ages 18-24 who are ready to learn and launch their culinary career.
Scholarships
- Apply to the NLGA Lt. Governors’ STEM Scholarship Program. Teachers in pre-K – 12th grade schools may apply for a scholarship to further STEM education through a project, equipment, program, or curriculum. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 15.
- Apply for The Chicago Urban League Scholarship. This scholarship is available for high school students and returning full-time students continuing their post-secondary education. The scholarship awards will range from $1,000-$10,000. The deadline to apply is Sunday, March 31 at 11:59 PM CST.
- Apply to the Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation (ILBCF) Scholarship. This scholarship is for high school seniors and undergraduate students who will continue their education at a two or four-year institution in Fall 2024. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 31.
Internships
- Block Club Chicago is looking for summer interns. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 15.
- Apply for the Chicago Housing Authority Summer Internship Program. This 8-week program will provide opportunities for college students to work in a professional environment, build workplace skills, and gain valuable experience.
Hiring Events
- The Chicago Urban League is hosting a Solar Hiring Event on Tuesday, March 26 from 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM.
- Attend the Women Veterans Town Hall, Resource and Employment Fair on Saturday, March 30 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This event will be held at Malcom X College, Auditorium, 1900 W. Jackson Blvd.
