• Cook County Public Defender's Office is hiring multiple positions including a Defense Center Coordinator, Supervisor, Mitigation, and Paralegals.

Workshops

• Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership is hosting these no-cost workshops: Getting Started with Microsoft PowerPoint (9/12), Working with Objects in Microsoft PowerPoint (9/12), Getting Started with Microsoft Excel (9/17), and Formulas in Microsoft Excel (9/17).

• South Suburban Housing Center is hosting an Improve Credit & Unlock Homeownership workshop on Saturday, September 14 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Huntington Bank, 17830 S Halsted Ave. Pre-registration is required.

Cohorts

• Apply to AMPT’s Digital Communications Cohort. This cohort experience aims to equip nonprofit executive directors and communication directors with essential skills and knowledge around digital communications to thrive in the digital world. Over four weeks, cohort members will participate in interactive sessions covering key areas of digital communication, including graphic design and social media strategies. The cohort starts in November 2024. The deadline to apply is Monday, September 30 at 11:59 PM CDT.
